Fine art printing Vancouver

Colour-managed archival pigment printing for artists, photographers and creative studios who care about paper, proofing and repeatable output — not just sending a file to a generic photo lab.

A print workflow built around the artwork

YRK Labs produces fine art prints with a measured, paper-specific workflow. We help select a surface based on the image, viewing conditions and final presentation, then proof before important editions or exhibition runs.

The goal is consistency from the first approved proof through the rest of an edition. Files are checked for resolution and output size, colour is handled through an ICC-managed workflow, and prints are inspected before release.

What you get

01 — 06
01

Colour-managed output

Paper-specific profiles, controlled output settings and hands-on verification keep colour and density predictable.

02

Archival materials

Choose from Hahnemühle and Canson cotton rag, baryta papers and fine art canvas suited to photography, illustration and original artwork.

03

Proof before editions

For colour-critical work, compare a proof before committing to a larger run or signed edition.

04

Flexible borders

Order borderless or add a white border for hinging, matting, signing and numbering.

05

Large-format printing

Roll-fed output supports substantial work up to 44-inch media width, with printable image width depending on the substrate and margins.

06

Artist-focused finishing

We can help decide paper, border, file preparation and packing based on whether the print is being framed, shipped, sold or exhibited.

FAQ

04

Is fine art printing the same as giclée printing?

In this context, yes. Giclée is the common term for high-quality inkjet printing with pigment inks on archival fine art substrates. Our broader fine art printing service also includes paper selection, proofing and production QA.

Do you print photographs as well as artwork?

Yes. Smooth rag and baryta papers are particularly well suited to photographic work, while textured papers and canvas can better complement reproductions of paintings and mixed media.

Can I order a white border?

Yes. Borders from a quarter inch to four inches can be added for signing, numbering, hinging or matting.

Do you offer test prints?

Yes. Proofing is recommended for colour-critical work, large prints and editions where consistency matters.
